Through experience of having a business that went viral in 2007 and plateaued in traffic for 2013, he knew social media marketing was a key factor in scaling his business that was more cost effective. In 2013, Adam and the TeacherTube Team went through several marketing firms trying to find the right fit for their business. All had strengths in certain areas, but none brought the whole package that included Social Media Marketing and Content Marketing. He knew social media would scale faster with the fraction of the cost.
After several months of testing with new marketing firms, like any driven entrepreneur, Adam took the marketing task in his own hands with the help of his internal team. That year TeacherTube grew from 16k to over 500k social followers. Not only did their social following increased but registered users increased by 75% from 1 million to over 1.5 million. Since ads were the main generator for the site, this lead to over 1 billion ad impressions on the site for the company in 2016.
After being acquired in 2017, he wanted to start another business that helps other businesses save money and time through his talents and strengths. By going through this process learning along the way with his previous company, Adam knew he could help others do the same proven strategies much faster. The same proven strategies that he used to help his business in social media and content marketing with others. So he did.
After just a few weeks he tested 5 companies that were acquaintances of his to get a proof of concept. All 5 worked with result showing immediately after a few weeks and all are now clients of A. Smith Media and team.
